Donating to the Friends of Resthaven Foundation
A donation to the Foundation makes a real and long-lasting difference by helping provide resources and services for the older people in our community. You can give to the Foundation as an individual, family, business or community organisation. Friends of Resthaven Foundation is a registered charity with the NZ Charities Commission (Registration No. CC49125). All donations $5 and over are tax deductible. You can choose how you would like your donation spent. It’s up to you!
Ways to give:
A one-off donation, business sponsorship, giving through your pay, donating to our endowment fund, or by coming along to our regular fundraising events.
Donations can be delivered to Resthaven reception, 6 Vogel Street, Cambridge 3434 or simply give us a call on phone 027 405 0808 or 07 827 6097.

OPERATIONAL ITEMS OR GENERAL DONATIONS
Projects that have helped Cambridge Resthaven residents include:
Helping upgrade an outdoor courtyard for care residents to enjoy.
An innovative, interactive activity table designed for care residents.
Sports equipment for visually impaired residents.
A collaboration with Cambridge High School students to fundraise for a van to take elderly residents on regular trips.
ENDOWMENT FUND
The 'Friends of Resthaven Foundation Fund' endowment fund provides a way for anyone to donate all year round.
Launched in 2026, this Fund will grow through:
leaving a gift in your will
giving with a living hand
transferring the assets of a trust.
